Air Ventures

TIME : 2016/2/25 15:11:48

Air Ventures – Hawaii provides an alternative to traditional helicopter tours of Hawaii—tours by plane, in an experience one is not likely to soon forget. The six-passenger planes fly low and are air conditioned. A tour of the whole island is possible on only twelve gallons of fuel. Helicopter tours use 375% more gas, so flights on Air Ventures are more economical.

Low noise on the outside will help protect the environment. Low noise on the inside will make your flight pleasant as your tour Oahu or Kauai.

What to Expect
You are touring Hawaii, so little needs to be said about the beautiful weather. The temperature rarely goes above 85 or much below 70. You can expect a roomy ride, with up to six passengers. Because there are no middle seats, there are no weight restrictions. A passenger weighing as much as 380 pounds can fly for the same price as anyone else. Your infants can fly free. We call them “lap passengers.” Children aged 2-6 can fly for $10 less. You can expect to fly with licensed, trained, knowledgeable tour pilots who are tour guides and can make the flying experience more enjoyable.

Prices
You can tour Kauai or Oahu for as little as $85 per adult. One Oahu flight lasts 30 minutes.

What You Can See During the Tour
During a tour of Kauai, you can view majestic areas like Kalapaki Bay, Menehune Fishpond, Kipu Kai, Spouting Horn, Menehune Fishpond, Anahola Mountains, Wailua River, Waialeale Crater and other beautiful sites. You can also tour the whole island. When you tour Oahu, a 30-minute flight of the Southern shore goes over Arizona Memorial, Battleship Row, Punchbowl, Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, and other sites. A 60-minute tour features all the sites on the other tour, plus Koolau Range, the windward islands, and other sites.

The Planes of Air Ventures
The GA-8 Airvan was built specifically for air tours. They have huge bubble windows that are perfect for taking pictures through. The planes travel at 125 to 135 knots, so can enjoy your tour.
