5 Ways to Enjoy Paris Las Vegas for Under $20

TIME : 2016/2/25 16:04:26

It’s hard to miss the mid-Strip presence of Paris Las Vegas, especially with the tall Eiffel Tower replica stretching into the sky.

But if you aren’t staying at this French-themed resort, there are still ways to enjoy a visit that will only set you back $20 or less.

paris-eiffeltower-2001] Ride the Eiffel Tower
Cost: $10 during the day (9:30am to 7:15pm)/$15 at night (7:30pm until close).

This iconic landmark on the Strip is a half-scale exact reproduction of one of Europe’s most famous landmarks. It also offers some amazing views of the Strip. Skip the photo they take and just bring your own camera. Try to time your ride for just before sunset for some truly great photo opportunities.

2] Take a Walk Across the Alexander III Bridge
Cost: Free

Another reproduction of a Paris landmark, this bridge not only offers a great view of the entire casino floor, but some great places to take photos with friends and family.

paris-buffet-2003] Enjoy Breakfast at Le Village Buffet

Cost: $15.99

If the all-you-can-eat made-to-order crepes aren’t enough to convince you to have breakfast here, you’re sure to find more than enough to satisfy your tastebuds in the many pods of regional French and traditional American breakfast offerings. Stretch the savings and explore even more French cuisine by making your reservation for between 10am and 10:30am. This is because at 11am, the breakfast offerings give way to lunch and if you’re still in the restaurant when they do, you can still keep eating.

4] Partake in Happy Hour at Napolean’s Lounge

Cost: Free cover

Happy Hour here runs from 4-7pm, with 1/2 price drinks. At night, it becomes a dueling piano bar, with no cover but a two-drink minimum. Beware, though, it’s also a cigar bar, and the whole lounge is covered in the smell and smoke.

paris-monami-2005] People Watch at Mon Ami Gabi
Cost: Varies

One classic French experience  is that of the cafe bistro. Parisians grab a coffee and perhaps a dessert and sit outside to enjoy the fresh air and people watch. Paris Las Vegas’ version of that is Mon Ami Gabi. Make a mid-afternoon lunch reservation for an outdoor table. Order a meal or just coffee and dessert (their $5 chocolate mousse is so delish!) and sit outside for a bit, watching the hustle and bustle of Vegas go by. As an added bonus, the Bellagio Fountains are right across the street, providing even more eye candy.

Close Runner-Up: Walk around the resort and enjoy the cheesy, yet fun, attempts to use the French language around the resort. Especially in the public washrooms…I mean, les toilettes.
