There are four commercial airports which serve Niagara Falls, the closest being Buffalo-Niagara International Airport on the USA side. On the Canadian side, Toronto Pearson is the busiest and largest airport serving the Falls.

Trains from Toronto to Niagara Falls

The Toronto to Niagara Falls Train operated by VIA Rail runs year round and is definitely a stress free way to travel, especially when you bring the kids.
There are two trains per day departing from Toronto, at 8:20 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. The travel time is about 2 hours.
The adult special fare is CAD $32.77 one way. If you also purchase a youth ticket (age 12-25) , the fare is CAD $22.60 one way for both adult and youth. A child (age 2-11) ticket costs CAD $15.82 one way.
The round trip adult and youth ticket is CAD $45.20, while the round trip child ticket is CAD $31.64. The train departs Niagara Falls, daily at 5:45 p.m.

Buses from Toronto to Niagara Falls

Coach Canada operates a direct bus from Toronto to Niagara Falls.
There are daily departures from Toronto at 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10 a.m. 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. , 2:15 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 3:45 p.m. (weekdays only), 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 9:15 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Tickets can be bought from the Megabus Canada website . Single fares range between CAD $15.00 and CAD $23.00 , depending on the time of departure.

Greyhound Canada also runs daily buses from Toronto to Niagara Falls. The first departure is at 6 a.m. and the last at 10:45 a.m. The travel time is between 1h 10 min and 2h 10 min, depending on the bus and hour of departure.
The web only adult fare is CAD $21.15 one way.

Driving from Toronto to Niagara Falls

You can rent a car and drive the 137 km between Toronto and Niagara Falls. It should take about 1h 40 min and you’ll be rewarded with lovely view along this particular route (Queen Elisabeth Way).
