The Worlds Largest Tasting Menu

TIME : 2016/2/29 16:37:34
The World's Longest Tasting Menu Has 200 Courses

And it lasts a full 24 hours.

A four-course meal is a treat; a 200-course meal is borderline abuse to the senses. Bompass and Parr—creators of spectacularly over-the-top culinary experiences—have done it again with their new mission to host a 200-course meal. The duo teamed up with Bespoke Offers to bring the foodie challenge to life, which is known as The 200 Club, taking place at The Factory in London.

Don't worry: the spectacle is broken down into 10 meals spliced by seven different digestive aids to keep those taste buds up to standard. All of the meals will span from breakfast food to late-night "drunchies"—the flavors that taste best after a few cocktails. Two lucky food lovers willing to shell out $3,140 will get the chance to take on this massive, 24-hour endeavor with a friend of their choosing. (Seriously, the eating stats at 8am on September 3rd and ends at 8am the following day.)

Diners will be in good hands. The food will be prepared by a number of noteworthy chefs: Angelo Sato, Joseph Wright, and Ramael Scully, to name a few. All meals will be plated in monochromatic color schemes (read: Instagram gold) to honor the late Emporer Nero—just another odd layer thrown into this larger-than-life happening. Here's how it's broken down:

• Yellow Breakfast

• White Elevenses

• Green Lunch

• Blue Afternoon Snack

• Purple Five o'clock Tiffin

• Pink Dinner

• Red Party Time

• Orange Drunchies

• Brown Blackout

• Multicolor Final Countdown

If 200 courses isn't your thing, you can purchase a much smaller (yet still impressive) 20-course tasting menu for $77. Think you've got what it takes? Head over to the Bespoke Offers website for more information on how to join The 200 Club.
