Beauty Q&A With Tracie Martyn

After making a name in New York City with her Resculpting Face and Body treatments at the Tracie Martyn Salon, the celebrity aesthetician is branching out to Lapis, The Spa at the Fontainebleau. T+L asked the skin-care guru about the new partnership and her travel beauty tips.

Why the Fontainebleau? There’s a sense of exclusivity—the hotel’s owners have brought in cult brands that exist only in a few places. Also, the spa’s philosophy is similar to my own: harnessing the benefits of natural elements to improve well-being.

Any other favorite spas? The Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica. Beautiful design, excellent services.

What beauty product is always in your suitcase? My LotuSculpt Activator ($50) and Eye Pads ($45), to prevent dark circles and bags.

How do you keep your skin healthy while flying? I believe in strong antioxidant protection and eat blueberries and drink pomegranate and açai juices while I’m traveling. Chocolate also contains a lot of antioxidants, as long as you don’t overdo it.
