This 1821 neoclassical Scottish Presbyterian church is one of India's most exquisite churches, rising up in leafy grounds in the middle of manic Egmore. Inspired by London's St Martin-in-the-Fields church, it has a grand columned portico, and an unusual oval colonnade inside under a domed ceiling supported by Corinthian columns, above which towers a slim multi-level spire.
