Palm House

The striking centerpiece of Liverpool’s Sefton Park is the glittering dome of the Palm House, a magnificent octagonal-shaped conservatory, constructed from an impressive 3,710 glass panels. The three-tiered Grade II listed structure dates back to Victorian times, but was rebuilt after WWII when a nearby bomb shattered the glass structure, and underwent further restoration work in 2001.
Today, the Palm House shelters a stunning display of seasonal plants and tropical flora, including towering palm trees, citrus fruits and various exotic flower varieties, as well as hosting glamorous events like award ceremonies, dinners and weddings.

Practical Info

The Palm House is located in Sefton Park in south Liverpool and is open daily from 10:30am to 4pm. Admission is free.
