Grotta di San Michele

TIME : 2016/2/18 21:26:57

Signposted from the top of town, the grotta was used as a place to live by the nuraghic people, as well as a tomb and place of cult worship. Excavations in 1914 and then 1949 unearthed pottery, vases and figurines, many of which are now on display at the Museo Nazionale Sanna in Sassari.
