Sala Picasso & Sala Miró

TIME : 2016/2/19 1:21:56

Few train stations have such a rich artistic legacy. In two rooms at street level in Sóller's station, there are two intriguing art exhibitions, the Sala Picasso and Sala Miró. The former has more than 50 ceramics by Picasso from 1948 to 1971, many bearing the artist's trademark subjects: dancers, women, bullfighting. The latter is home to a series of playful, colour-charged prints by the Catalan master; Miró's maternal grandfather was from Sóller.
