When a royal family comes to the seaside, they need a suitable summer beach pad. For Maria Cristina and family, that beach pad was the Palacio Miramar. It was built in the late 19th century in a 'Queen Anne English Cottage' style (some cottage!) but sadly the interior isn't often open to the public.
