Fort Greene & Clinton Hill

TIME : 2016/2/18 11:20:33

These appealing residential districts spread east and south from the Brooklyn side of the Manhattan Bridge (along the eastern side of Flatbush Ave). The neighborhoods are marked on the southwestern end by the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower , which was built in 1927 and for decades was the tallest building in Brooklyn. If you’re lost, looking for the tower is a good way to regain your sense of direction.

If you’re on the hunt for gorgeous 19th-century architecture, Washington and Clinton Aves in Clinton Hill are home to some beautiful clusters of post–Civil War row houses.
