Part museum, part local landmark, this ornate Victorian mansion was built in 1897 on a hill above Hoquiam by lumber tycoon Robert Lytle. The lavish furnishings and period details look like something out of a Scooby Doo cartoon and include lots of dark wood, delicate antiques and even a fully working Victorian bathroom. Tours leave most days at 3pm, but call in advance to be sure.
