A generous endowment and whipsmart curators allow the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts to take on ambitious, sweeping shows, such as the recent exhibition re-imagining books as pictures and performances. Shows are also occasionally hosted on campus by PLAySPACE , an experimental exhibition program organized by MFA candidates in the college's curatorial studies program.
