If you enjoyed the alleys of oaks and manicured grounds at Butler Greenwood, you’ll go gaga for the 250-acre Afton Villa Gardens . The mansion itself burned down in 1963, but the ruins only add to the lush atmosphere. In springtime (especially April), the hundreds of azaleas lining the paths bloom brilliantly and the valley of daffodils becomes a sea of yellow.
