Colorado Prison Museum

Bethesda Fountain

Famous for its unique hybrid orchids, this touristy showroom bursts with 200,000 blooming plants, shippable all over the world. Drop in for an olfactory awakening. Its off Hwy 11 between mile markers 22 and 23.

Abalone Cove Shoreline Park
The best place to hunt for starfish, anemones and other tidepool critters is in and around this rock-strewn eco-preserve. The walk down to the beach gets pretty steep in some sections, so watch your footing.
