Durango's best mirador (viewing platform) is linked by a spectacular, if shortish, teleférico (cable car), which runs from Cerro del Calvario. As well as panoramic vistas of the cityscape, the hill is crowned by the church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios . On Friday and Saturday evenings, open-air films are projected onto the church’s outer walls.
