Bossa nova legend Tom Jobim was a big admirer of the botanical gardens. This Jardim Botânico concert venue and art space was created as a memorial to him in 2008. The 378-seat hall hosts concerts, plays and dance performances, and you can learn more about Jobim at the on-site museum, which holds photographs, personal objects and videos of the great composer.
