Tokyo

TIME : 2016/2/24 15:38:23

Another great reason to visit Japan! Tokyo has been ranked number 1 and Osaka number 3 in the world on the Safe Cities Index 2015 compiled by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Tokyo, the most populous city in the world and capital of Japan, ranks the highest in terms of digital security, and scores high in terms of health, infrastructure, and personal safety.

The Economist report looked at cities which are major urban centres, and ranked 50 cities around the world based on the categories mentioned above. Singapore ranked second, with Osaka, Japan and Stockholm, Sweden taking the third and fourth spots.

This is great news for Tokyo as it enters the race to complete plans and facilities for the 2020 Summer Olympics where security is always a concern. Congrats Japan!
