The Jingu Gaien Hanabi Taikai (Fireworks Display) is held at Jingu Kyujo Baseball Stadium, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, from 7:30 pm. to 8:30 pm on August 17th in the Shubuya-ku area of Tokyo. There are over 10,000 fireworks fired off in a spectacular display.

The Jingu Gaien Hanabi  fireworks are preceded by music concerts all from 5:30 pm in the following places close to the main fireworks show:

(1) at Jingu Kyujo Baseball Stationium, (2) at Kokuritsu Kyogi-jo (National Stationium), (3) at Chichibunomiya Rugby & Football Ground, and from 5 pm (4) at Nanshiki Kyujo Baseball Park.

Tickets are available at Seven-Eleven, Circle K Sunkus, or Ticket Pia counters and are frequently sold out so get them early. In the case of rain, it will be postponed to the 18th.

How to get there:

(1) The Toei Oedo Subway Line to Kokuritsu Kyogijo Station (E 25)

(2) The JR Sobu Line to Shinanomachi Station or Sendagaya Station

(3) The Ginza Subway Line to Gaien-mae Station (G 03)
