There are several important temples in the surrounding hills, accessible by taxi or local bus. About 3km from Kullu, high on the hillside in the village of Bhekhali, the Bhekali Temple (Jagannathi Devi Temple) offers an impressive vista over the valley. A return taxi here costs ₹500, and buses run here at 9am and 2pm from the bus station.
