John D Macarthur State Park

TIME : 2016/2/18 10:37:13

While this state park is one of the smallest in the region, it has among the best turtle-watching programs around, as loggerhead, green and leatherback turtles nest along the beach in June and July. It’s home to several aquariums and a spectacular 1600ft boardwalk spanning the mangroves of Lake Worth Cove. The on-site nature center offers guided (single/double $26.50/42.40) and unguided (single/double $12/18 per hour) kayak trips.
