I'm a sucker for anything sweet and I will never say no to a cold treat on a hot summer day!!
While touring around Vancouver's Gastown district with some friends, I stumbled across a new dessert place called Soft Peaks. We went in and decided to share a "Honeycomb Peak" which is their signature swirled organic soft serve ice cream topped with a piece of local honeycomb and cereal flakes at the bottom. I wasn't sure what the big deals was then I scooped a bit of honeycomb, a bit of soft serve, and a bit of cereal. The cold, sweet and crunch was fantastic.
Soft Peaks is made with local Avalon milk, a touch of sweetness and then churned to perfection. The result is a creamy desert that is all natural, and lower in calories and fat than ice cream. Who can say no now?
