Tour Kyoto on the Open Air Sightseeing Bus “SKY BUS KYOTO”

The open air sightseeing bus “SKY BUS KYOTO” has started operation in Kyoto and is available every day from Oct. 1, 2015 through Mar. 18, 2016. You can book in advance or on-the-day at the reservation centre or departure point if there is space available.

There are 2 courses;

  1. Course “W1” is one-hour-drive around the city to enjoy the landscape from the open air bus (1,800 yen / adult). It passes major spots such as Nijojo Castle, Heianjingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo and Kyoto Tower etc.
  2. Course “WA” passes major spots in the city as well and also includes “visits” to Kinkakuji Temple and Kiyomizudera Temple (3,000 yen / adult), which takes about 3.5 hour.

Both courses start from JR Kyoto Station (Karasuma entrance), and Course “WA” is available twice a day and “WA” once a day.

Please note that a bus tour guide is available on bus but only Japanese is spoken.
