Autumn leaves in Urabandai, Fukushima HD video is set at Osawa Pond in Bandai-Asahi National Park in Urabandai, in the north of the Aizu Basin. This park is surrounded by mountains, forests and many lakes. The area is covered in snow for half of the year. With its beautiful seasonal changes including amazing autumn foliage, it was designated as a national park in 1950.
Next to the entrance of the Nakase-numa Promenade is the Ura-Bandai Site Station, a base for visitors that provides information about the area and its hiking routes, gives advice on activities in the area, and provides guides who can accompany visitors to enable them to experience the area’s natural beauty to the fullest.
