Yunohana Restaurant @ Owakudani
Owakudani on the Hakone Ropeway is a fascinating area of volcanic activity. The surreal terrain is reflected in the menu of the Yunohana Restaurant at the visitors’ center. Meals include offerings found nowhere else in Japan. Recommended is the spicy but not hot black curry and rice, which is notable for its unusual color. Hell Noodles are served steaming like the sulfur vents. For the less adventurous, there are more traditional meals such as teriyaki chicken and rice. Children’s portions are also available.
Meals range from about 1000 to 2000. The restaurant is open from 9 am to 5 pm, but hours may vary with the seasons. For more information:
