The entrance to this national park is 3km from the small town of Ubajara, 325km west of Fortaleza. The main attractions are giant caves, the cable car down to them, and walks in the surrounding forest. At 850m above sea level, the surrounding area has relatively cool temperatures that provide a welcome respite from the searing heat of the sertão .
